Our Story

Empowering Through Education

Established in February 2019, Gyanda Bharti is a registered Trust with the aim to provide quality and free after-school education to children from underprivileged communities. We run daily after-school classes at Sultanpur, Sector 128, Noida.

Our students hail from nursery to 10th grade and study all subjects in these classes. After 10th Gyanda keep hand holding with the students to move ahead in the path to achieve their career. Like we sponsor to get proper training for different competition/ for vocational training/ skill development training etc.

Gyanda supports for holistic development of the children be it; education, physical activities, dance, health and nutrition.

To achieve all these, it organises regular curriculum-based classes, dance classes, health check-up and eye-check-up camps, daily feeding program, monthly pad distribution for senior girl students for holistic development of every child.

Our students are first-generation school-goers and learners in their families and thus they do not often have access to support at home or in their crowded classrooms. Gyanda aims to bridge this gap by conducting regular classes. With the growth of students more teachers are hired to maintain an effective teacher-to-student ratio as 1:20 (max.). Students get individual attention in the areas of improvement so that their learning journey does not stop.

Our Vision

To create a world where every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, has access to quality education and the resources needed to thrive.

Our Mission

To transform lives through education by fostering knowledge, skills, and moral values in underprivileged children, enabling them to become responsible and empowered citizens.

The journey of Gyanda Bharti started by teaching four students of domestic helps in front of a temple located in Sultanpur, sector-128, Noida. Addressing their doubts became the catalyst for igniting their passion for learning.

Encouraged by the positive impact, more underprivileged students were approached to learn & get educated. Soon Gyanda Bharti became the centre of attraction for the students to learn and understand the concept.

In the span of five years, the mission which started with 4 students and sole teacher, has grown to accommodate 200 students and 10 teachers. Currently, Gyanda runs classes from nursery to class 10th standard.

After class 10th, hand –holding with students remain in place which help students getting admission to specific coaching classes/ skill enhancement/ vocational training. Students of Gyanda are further identified for Engineering, Computer courses, Fashion designing, Physiotherapy, Beautician, Bakery courses depending on their aptitude and area of interest and Gyanda in helping in their quest.

We organise career counselling classes to expand their horizon. Experts from different fields are invited to help and aware them about different career opportunities and how to channel in the correct direction.

A daily feeding program is steered to provide nutritious meals to all the students promoting health and nutrition with dignity.

For girl students and village women belonging to lower strata, it organizes awareness session on “Menstrual Hygiene and its management” which follows free pad distribution. In addition, regular monthly sanitary pad distribution is organised to cater the need of girl students.

Gyanda Bharti cares about holistic development and organise annual “Eye check-up followed by providing prescription spectacles, “Health check-up”, daily feed program, cultural activities, educational trips, every year.
